Project: scholarship for data manager at the pediatric hematology-oncology service of the JP Garrahan Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This grant was awarded to a leading pediatric center in South America on the recommendation of one of the scientific committee members, Dr. Ira Dunkel of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Hospital JP Garrahan in Buenos Aires diagnoses approximately 30% of all children with cancer in Argentina. The C2C-backed data manager also contributes to Argentina's National Pediatric Cancer Registry (ROHA) and GALOP (Latin American Pediatric Oncology Group) protocol data management for metastatic retinoblastoma.
