Karamat was born on June 19, 2012. A few months after his birth he exhibited health problems, he was very pale and down in tone. Visited at the local hospital after some tests he was diagnosed with thalassemia. The Doctor has told the family that he will have to undergo regular blood transfusions for life. It was very difficult for the family to manage the considerable expenses to insure blood products and medicines as the father is a driver with a very modest income and a large family who all depend on him. They followed the compatibility through specific tests that showed a 100% match with 2 donors. The Cure2Children Foundation has taken care of the little Karamat who will soon access the transplant, the only possible therapy for a complete recovery.
