Increasing safety of bone marrow transplantation for both patient and donor

A recent article by Cure2Children partner centers was published in the official journal of the American Society of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) describing the largest experience in the use of Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF)-primed bone marrow. This approach allows a decrease in bone marrow collection volumes while decreasing the risk of graft versus host disease and speeding up hematological recovery.
