Supporting children with sickle cell disease in Cameroon

Cure2Children, in collaboration with the Fondation Medical Frantz Fanon in Youndè, is supporting children with sickle cell disease (SCD) in Cameroon. SCD is a genetic blood disorder that affects millions globally, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, where resources for managing the condition are often limited. In Cameroon, where SCD is prevalent, many children face significant challenges in accessing proper care and treatment.

Cure2Children is supporting the Fondation Medical Frantz Fanon to address these challenges. One key initiative is the provision of free hydroxyurea treatment for selected young children with SCD. At present a first group of 100 children heas been enrolled in the project,

Through its tireless efforts, Cure2Children continues to make a significant impact on the lives of children with SCD in Cameroon, offering hope and support for a brighter and healthier future.
